Area Sales Manager – NORTH WEST

 

Location: Cluj Napoca (ideally), covering the counties of Cluj, Maramures, Satu Mare, Bihor, Bistrita, Salaj;

Client: strong multinational company acting in FMCG, one of the leaders in its market worldwide.


On behalf of our Client, a prestigious multinational company acting in the field of FMCG, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager for the North Western area of the country with the following profile:

  • Mandatory experience in FMCG sales, knowledge of TT-Traditional Trade and IKA;

  • Very good knowledge of the North Western area of the country (suppliers, customers, digital distribution, route to market, etc.);

  • Business acumen and commercial sense, strategic thinking;

  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, working with CRMs, following KPIs specific to sales activities in FMCG;

  • Excellent people management skills;

  • Leadership and influencing, negotiation skills very well developed;

  • Higher education completed;

  • Good English skills, knowledge of the MS Office package;

  • Driving license category B.

 

Role description:
The new colleague will ensure the achievement of the quantitative and qualitative targets in the allocated territorial area (6 counties). He is responsible for managing and developing the portfolio of active clients of the company, achieving the quantitative, qualitative and value targets received, establishing relations with clients based on professionalism and performance, in accordance with the company's marketing policies. He will have a subordinate team of trade marketing representatives (TMR) of whose performance is responsible.


Responsibilities:

  •  Identifies and satisfies the needs of active clients in accordance with the company's marketing policies and assigned area of competence;

  • Supervises and evaluates the activity of the subordinate team (reporting, motivation, training);

  • Monitors and supports the activity of clients in the area of responsibility (Distributors, National Accounts; Local Key Accounts; International Key Accounts)

  • Implements and monitors compliance with the company's marketing policies by clients in the area of responsibility (Distributors and their clients, National Accounts, Local Key Accounts, International Key Accounts;

  • Is responsible for reaching the value, quantitative and qualitative targets;

  • Identifies and activates potential clients in the area of responsibility;

  • Ensures the flow of data and information between the company and its clients in both directions;

  • Tracks balances and resolves payment delays encountered with the company clients (Distributors, National accounts, Direct accounts);

  • Manages and distributes the promotional materials assigned by the company, according to the area of responsibility, with the sole purpose of increasing the volume of sales;

  • Is actively involved, at the request of the company, in carrying out promotional campaigns, according to the assigned tasks;

  • Permanently prospects the market and informs the direct manager about the observed developments;

B2B Sales Executive 

Location: Prahova, Ploiesti  ideally (can be Buzau or Dambovita)

Client: IT hardware company, over 1 millions USD turnover, > 20 years on the Romanian market

Requirements:

  • Consistent experience in B2B sales, having served a large portfolio of clients;

  • Ideally, possessing  a good network and strong relationships in the field of IT sales or related field;

  • Great sales experience, focused on business development/client hunting;

  • Proactivity, grit and very good pre-sales approach and follow up;

  • Team player, optimistic, persistent and excellent at forming relationships;

  • Previous experience working in an IT company is an asset;

  • Good English speaker.
     

Responsibilities:

  • Building the client portfolio, presenting and selling the company's products and services to B2B customers;

  • Prospecting constantly new clients, sales hunting and management of client portfolio in the counties of  Prahova, Buzau and Dambovita;

  • Balanced split of responsibilities between office and field activities;

  • Reporting to the Sales Manager and General Manager of the company.
